Child Care
Please note that no official arrangements have been made for child care during the meeting. Please check with the hotel you are staying at who may be able to assist you further with babysitting services during your stay.
Communication
All communication with registered delegates will be by email wherever an email address is provided, or by fax. If you register and do not receive a confirmation either by email or fax within 3 working days please contact the meeting secretariat EECW Pty Ltd by phone on (08) 9389 1488 or email info@eecw.com.au
Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to coming to the Conference. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, or through cancellation of the Conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. Neither the Conference Secretariat nor the Organising Committee will take any responsibility for any participant failing to insure. Please speak to your travel agent or airline in regard to this matter.
Meals
All tea breaks and lunches will be served amongst the industry exhibition. The Meeting Organisers recognise that some delegates may have special dietary needs. Please advise the Meeting Secretariat either via the registration form or in writing should you wish for them to make alternative arrangements on your behalf.
Privacy Statement
In registering for this event relevant details may be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, ASOHNS, EECW Pty Ltd and other parties directly related to the Meeting. Should you wish for your details not to be included in this list, please tick the privacy requested box on the registration form.
Smoking Policy
The Sheraton Perth Hotel has a no smoking policy. This policy also applies to the majority of restaurants, bars and shopping centres in Perth.
Visas
International visitors to Australia require a Visa or an electronic travel authority. It is your responsibility to ensure documentation is correct and complete before you commence your journey. Information on obtaining visas or ETA's can be found on the web site - www.eta.immi.gov.au
Visitors to Perth
Perth Airport is the international and regional gateway to Western Australia. Located only 12 km north east from the heart of Perth, shuttle buses operate between the airports, Perth city and Fremantle. Hire cars and taxis are easily available.
Airport to City Shuttle Services
Bus shuttle services are available from Perth Airport to the city. A one-way trip from the domestic terminal costs $11.00 per person and from the international terminal costs $13.00 per person.
Taxi
Taxi ranks are located outside both terminals, and commissionaires are available to assist you during peak movement periods. As a general guide, the following fees apply for taxi’s travelling from:
Domestic Terminal to CBD: $27
International Terminal to CBD: $35
Public Transport
Perth has an advanced public transport infrastructure providing frequent train and bus services. Free Central Area Transit (CAT) busses also operate within the Central Business District, allowing passengers to hop on and off with ease.
